Hydro-Quebec and NB Power scrap power deal

Hydro-Quebec was negotiating with NB Power to acquire 10 generation facilities in New Brunswick and 670 megawatts of transmission rights to New England for $3.2 billion. The deal seems to be scuttled for the moment due largely to opposition in New Brunswick.

What work have I done?

I work primarily for developers, lenders and equipment suppliers but since 2004 I have had the opportunity to work with most stakeholders in renewable energy projects including First Nations, utilities and landowners.

I have been retained to assist on many renewable energy projects including wind, solar, biomass and flare-gas from the front-end of site acquisition through the entire project development cycle to dispute resolution at the back-end of the project.
