Chad Eggerman
I am a Partner at Miller Thomson LLP in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada with a specialist practice in the area of renewable energy. I assist participants in renewable energy projects with regulatory issues and provide legal services regarding project development. I assist clients in structuring, risk assessment, construction, assistance in obtaining capital and contractual arrangements for all renewable energy projects. I represent both domestic and international clients in Saskatchewan, Canada and globally and provide advice to both developers and investors in wind, solar PV, hydro, biogas, biomass and ethanol projects. I also assist producers, aggregators and emitters regarding carbon offset trading and carbon credits. Saskatchewan is a global leader in developing clean-coal and carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) technology and I can advise clients ranging from small local start-up companies to large institutional investors in this regard.
